Privacy policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
This policy explains how Medtra Inc. collects, uses, keeps and protects personal information on 630motion.tv, Medtra’s AI film studio (630 Motion Studio), in accordance with Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada’s PIPEDA. You can watch every video without an account.
1. Who is responsible
Medtra Inc., 6500 Route Transcanadienne, bureau 400, Pointe-Claire (Québec) H9R 0A5, Canada. Person in charge of the protection of personal information: Medelya Claude, privacy@medtra.ca.
2. What we collect
- Medtra account (only if you sign in or create an account): first name, email address, password (stored only as a hash by our authentication service). It is the same account as the Medtra app and medtra.ca.
- Anonymous views: when a video starts, your browser sends a random identifier kept for the life of the tab (sessionStorage). We store this identifier, the video and the date, only to avoid counting the same view twice. It is not linked to your name, your IP address or your account.
- Cookies: one session cookie when you are signed in and one language cookie. Details in our cookie policy.
- Membership (only if you subscribe): plan, status, renewal date and the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, used to give you access to member content.
- Payment cards: cards are entered directly on a Stripe form (Stripe Elements). No card number, expiry date or security code goes through or is stored on our servers. We only receive from Stripe the brand, the last 4 digits and the expiry date, to show them in your account.
- Shop waiting list (only if you sign up): email address, product, language and date, plus your account identifier if you are signed in. It is used only to send you one email when the product is released.
- Server logs: like any web server, ours records requests (IP address, page, time, browser) for security and troubleshooting.
3. Why
To show the videos and count views; to sign you in and keep you signed in; to display and add the cards on your Medtra account, used for Medtra services; to notify you once when a shop product you signed up for is released; to secure the site and prevent abuse. We do not sell your information, we show no ads, and we use no third party analytics or tracking tool.
4. Where the information is kept
The website and the videos are hosted in Beauharnois, Québec (OVHcloud). Accounts and the MedBase database (name, email, profile) are hosted on Medtra’s main server in Germany (IONOS SE, Berlin). Requests to our account service and to medtra.ca go through Cloudflare (network and security provider). Card data is kept by Stripe, mostly in the United States. Information is therefore communicated outside Québec; before doing so we assessed that it receives adequate protection (contracts, encryption in transit, data protection laws of the European Union for Germany).
5. Service providers
- Stripe, Inc. (payment card processing), stripe.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (network delivery and protection of api.medbase.dev and medtra.ca).
- OVHcloud (hosting in Beauharnois, Québec) and IONOS SE (hosting in Berlin, Germany).
6. How long
Account: as long as it is active, then deleted upon request or closure. Session cookie: 30 days. Language cookie: 12 months. Anonymous view identifiers: as long as the video is online. Membership records: as long as the account exists and as required by tax law for invoices (Stripe keeps invoices). Waiting list: until the product is released, then deleted within 30 days, or earlier upon request. Server logs: 14 days.
7. Your rights
You may request access to your information, its correction, the withdrawal of your consent, the deletion of your account, and a copy of the information you provided in a structured, commonly used technological format (portability). Write to privacy@medtra.ca; we answer within 30 days. You can also delete your account from the Medtra app. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
8. Security
Encrypted connections (TLS) everywhere, session cookie sealed with AES-256-GCM and inaccessible to scripts (HttpOnly, Secure), access to the publishing studio limited to one administrator account.
9. Changes
We will update this page and its date if the policy changes. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
